Download Nokia PC Phone from here: http://www.nokia.com/betalabs/pcphone.
Save the file to your PC disk, for example to your desktop. The file is named as PCPhone_install_1.2.NNNN.exe where NNNN is the PC Phone software version number.
After the download is completed, click the file you downloaded to start installation.
Disconnect your phone from PC now.
Close all your web browsers.
NOTE: you are forced to uninstall earlier Nokia PC Phone software. See Uninstalling Nokia PC Phone.
First the installer will verify itself:

This may take a while. When verification is ready, the welcome screen is shown. Follow the Setup Wizard instructions; it is a good idea to leave the default options intact and just press Next always to continue.

Press Next to get the license agreement screen. Read it carefully.

Press I Agreet to continue installation. The next screen gives you opporotunity to install Nokia PC Phone to Frefox 2.x or Internet Explorer 7.x browsers or both.

Mark the browsers you want to use with Nokia PC Phone. If you do not have Internet Explorer 7.x (for example you have IE 6.x) uncheck "Support for Internet Explorer 7.x"; if you do not have Firefox 2.x browser uncheck "Support for Firefox 2.x".
Press Next to get the screen where you can choose the installation folder.

It is recommended to use the default folder, but you can enter an other as well. Press Install to start installation.
You are asked to close browsers if they are running. Close your browser to continue the installation
The progress bar is displayed to indicate the state of the installation.

When the installation is ready you will get the following screen:

Press Next to complete installation.

Press Close to exit the installer. Uncheck "Show Nokia PC phone help file" if you do not want to read the Nokia PC Phone help. You can start your default browser checking "Start PC Phone with Browser".
Note that if you are requested to reboot your computer, do it now.
Click the Nokia PC Phone icon in your browser window (upper right corner).
Firefox: Internet Explorer:

If you are using USB cable, disconnect the cable now. Click the Not connected link.

Now the Nokia PC Phone starts to connect your phone using Get Connected Wizard.

At this point connect your phone USB cable to your PC (if you connect your phone with cable).
If you connect with Bluetooth:
- Turn Bluetooth on in your PC (follow your PC/Bluetooth supplier instructions)
- Turn on Bluetooth in your phone. Typically you find it from
Menu->Connections(or connectivity)->Bluetooth.
From there:
- Turn Bluetooth on
- Set phone's visibility to all
- Give a name for your phone
Press Next to continue. Note that help is always avaibalbe by pressing the Help button.

Select either cable or Bluetooth connection depending on your setup and phone and PC capabilities.
If you are going to use Bluetooth turn on the Bluetooth in your phone and PC.
If you are going to use cable connection, connect the USB cable between your phone and PC.
Then press Next

The following screen is now displayed.

Connect your cable now. The phone may ask about connection mode. Select "PC Suite" or "Default".
When the cable has been connected and the USB is ready to use, the following screen is displayed in some phone models. Nokia PC Phone installs a small support application to your phone.

Press Next to continue. Answer OK to all questions your phone asks.

Now the connection has been set up. Press Finish and start using Nokia PC Phone.
Nokia PC Phone starts to search Bluetooth devices. This may take a while.

When the Bluetooth search is ready, all phones detected are displayed in the following list:

If your phone is not seen, press Search for more phones.
Select your phone (click the phone name) and press Next.
Now your PC and phone are paired which means that they form a trusted connection between each other.
Enter any numerical passcode in the next dialogue, the default is 123

Press Next. Now your phone asks whether you accept connection from your PC and asks also for the same passcode. Enter the same passcode to your phone as well.
Answer "yes" when the phone asks "Allow this device to connect automatically?". If this question is not asked then the phone may ask (several times) "Accept connection requests from Your PC Name" answer yes; you should also set your PC as authorized. Typically you can do it in your phone as follows:
- Menu->Connections(or connectivity)->Bluetooth.
- Find your PC Name and set it as authorized
When the Bluetooth connection is established, the following screen is displayed in some phone models. Nokia PC Phone installs a small support application to your phone.

Press Next to continue. Answer OK to all questions your phone asks, for example "Install Enhancement driver?". This driver must be installed to certain phone models to get all Nokia PC Phone features working with the phone.
When everything is ready, the following screen is displayed:

Now the connection has been set up. Press Finish and start using Nokia PC Phone.
Just press the Help button to get help:

Please close all browsers first.
To uninstall Nokia PC Phone select Start->Programs->Nokia PC Phone->Uninstall Nokia PC Phone:

Press Uninstall in the next screen:

Nokia PC Phone uninstaller starts to remove all files.
Press Next in the next Nokia PC Phone uninstaller screen:

You are asked to reboot your computer:

It is recommended that you reboot now. You will be instructed save and close all open files and documents. Do so.

Press OK and your computer will be rebooted.
